Clients booking online should have the ability to book into a waiting list if their stylist isn't available. Staff in salon should have better options in the wait list like auto booking in and more flexible times in the waiting list, not just for a specific time slot.1,064 votes
Spoke to Rachel for training. Suggested a (Did Not Show) counter or (Did Not Show) button, similar to the break button. Reason being is that there are many naughty customers who doesn't show up where within that time we lose a time slot. So it would be lovely to have a counter or a did not show button. Would help us a lot for future bookings to take an individual seriously or not.
Reserve with Google is a new service where you can book an appointment directly from your google search. There is no need to go to a specific app or website. You just start booking directly from your search. Other salon software have had great success partnering up with Reserve with google and I was hoping Phorest would be able to provide the same service. I have attached pictures of what it looks like. When a Client's SMS Appointment Notification has "FAILED" to send please provide the salon with an update so we know our Clients are not receiving their notifications. That way we can rectify the problem BEFORE a missed appointment. Thank you.467 votes

Currently, we have to change the appointment in the appointment book screen to reflect the changes (upgrades/changes/downgrades) before we can pay the appointment. Could we please have the ability to make the changes in the pay screen, and in turn this then update the appointment book to reflect what has actually been charged for. If the stylists forget to change the appointment before paying we get left with appointments that are checked in but never appearing as paid.

In the marketing area there would be a 6 week calendar where we could add in campaigns to be sent across the six weeks including SMS and Email for different types of campaigns, so we can set up our marketing once and not have to worry about it again till 6 weeks later.351 votes

If you go into a clients file it shows a client that cancels or doesn't show. This should flag up when the client calls to book so a deposit can be asked for311 votes
Some big news here, we’re now in development on a new payment platform for Phorest. We expect this to release later this year (after summer), we have a team dedicated to this and we can’t wait to get it into your hands.
This will allow things like larger deposits, taking deposits over the phone and charging the balance of appointments using stored credit cards on client accounts.
Big things are coming this year!
There should be away that we can flag an appointment on the book (make it red) for important notes, reminders or if they have a habit of being late or not showing up to their appointments. This can also be combined for Birthday reminders.
What I do now is before their appointment time I make a break time before and write my notes there.

Marketing - Auto Group Clients for Better Targeting (High spenders, overdue, regulars, low spenders etc)
When sending an email or SMS campaign, it would be great if we didn't have to mess around with complicated filters. We should be able to pick from pre-set filters for clients like high spenders or low spenders, people who've had this type of facial or regular hair colour or even people due in for certain services or people who tend to book on a Monday.
If Phorest figured these groups out before hand then sending campaigns would be much easier!218 votes
