  1. Stock - Stock Monitoring In Real Terms

    Under professional stock details a tick box of all the treatments that the salon offers so as you can select the treatments that the specific product is used in. This would be in the relevant mls etc. On a monthly or quarterly basis a report could be run detailing how many mls should have been used and this can be compared with a physical check done in house. This way it can be easily seen if the salon is getting as many treatments out of a product as they should be.

  2. Option for Multiple Tabs

    when your on one screen you can't switch onto another screen for example if you are cashing a client out but they want to make their next apt before cashing out you have to exit purchase screen to go on appointment screen. very old technology

  3. Employee clock in/clock out hours to show up on payroll reports

    Right now I have to compile 2 reports to do payroll. Payroll reports now only show commissions/tips. It should include employees who clock in and clock out- Front desk and other help, Commissions and tips.

    It would be great if it showed every providers total sales by day/commissions/tip. / hours worked by day -for clocked in employees. then totals for that pay period.

  4. Show when a client has two appointments booked close together

    Sometimes clients forget or don't mention that they have an appointment booked and then will call to make another booking. On SalonGenius there was a function that if a client had two appointments within a week of each other, a warning would flash up to say in case it was a mistake. It would be handy to have this function on Phorest as well.

  5. Staff - Set What Staff Can Do A Service When Creating Service

    At the moment all therapists are qualified when you add a new treatment, so now I have to remember to go into each therapists qualifications and untick them if they can't do that particluar treatment. I would like the ability to just qualify the relevant therapists at the time of adding the new treatment. Perhaps a drop down box on the advanced page to tick the therapist.

  6. A quick search to see a specific staff members service list including pricing and timing

    Staff members have different prices and time it takes to complete the service.

    We constantly have guests call and ask how much "x" service costs with "x" stylist. In our old system it took ONE click on that staff members name to pull up this list.

    Currently there are too many steps to access this information. This information is so valuable to our front desk staff.

    It has reflected very poorly on our salon when it takes longer than 30 seconds to find the price of a specific service with a specific service provider. It makes our guests question our…

  7. Phorest Desktop - Appointment Builder Tool / Availability Checker

    It would be great to have a smart search facility where we could choose the treatments required and the system would return a certain number of the next available slots for that booking. Could include other filters such as individual staff members or am/pm.

  10. Option to scan in products as they arrive in an order

    Quick scan mode when checking an order has all arrived. Sometimes as a Key color account the orders are huge for professional stock and can take time scanning and punching in the amount. Would be easier if they could quickly scan the stock.

  11. A button to block online booking for a client that is not as severe as ‘banned’

    Some clients consistently book the wrong appointments or they book multiple spots and cancel or no show at the last minute. The time in managing them would be easier if the were simply redirected to get in touch. A banned button should only be used in extreme circumstances, there should be levels of restriction

  14. On sales screen break down services total and products total

    When cashing a client out, if they purchase a product with their service, having it broken down (maybe just at the bottom or something) so when they ask what the services are we don't need to go in and manually calculate it. I know my clients ask this frequently for tipping purposes. so sally got a hair cut for $53 and spent $77 on products instead of seeing $130 total due you would see

    Total $130
    (Services $53)
    (Products $77)

    or something along those lines would be Greatly appreciated!!!!

  17. Pop up to show remainder of gift card balance after check out on same window as re-book, email receipt, etc.

    It's helpful to be able to quickly write the remaining balance on the back of the gift card for the client to remember how much of a balance is left.

  18. Different delivery options for the online store i.e. Click & collect

    In The Online Store you NEED to have an option for Local Pickup. If the client wants to pick up, they can come to the salon. If they want it to be shipped in can be shipped. Both.

  20. Trails to show what staff members have viewed, in addition to what they have edited

    On our old system we had a daily log of who’d done what when logged into their PIN number.
    Eg. When they’d looked at a client record card and what time. And when they’d changed an appointment from one day to another. The trails on the system at the moment are good but it takes a long time to track any changes so to be able to see what staff have been looking at or doing whilst logged in would be fab.
