Online Booking - Limit How Far In Advance Bookings Can Be Made
Allow us to chose how many days/weeks/months in advance bookings can be made.
At the moment the clients can book in anytime in advance and this makes it difficult to schedule holidays when they are requesting certain staff members.

Branded App Development
I would like to see the app developed to enable for our salon to send push notifacations to alert certain category clients that a space has become available / special promotions
- Client to upload their own photos of treatments or salonselfie to be tagged to their account / their reviews through the app also / feedback
- Send customers info on latest or treatments they might like

Digital Treatcard: Automatic opt-in on card creation option
We'd love it if the TreatCard was integrated into the App so that the guest isn't required to have a TreatCard tag or card that needs to be scanned into their file. As soon as a client card is created they are allocated a treat card number.
Perhaps upon first time payment a pop up comes up asking if they'd like to opt into the rewards program. There could be bonus if they opt in that's customizable. We'd like to see more flexibility in the types of treats they can receive.

Online Booking - Check Gap Time Before & After
At the moment the online booking platform will only check the time gap from the last appointment and won't check the time gap for the next appointment.
This is creating small un-usable gaps from the end of the online booking to the start of the next appointment.
While it would limit the availability shown online it is losing us money and we would like the option to force the gap time check on both sides of the appointment.

if online booking will allow you to book multiple appointments for multiple people and not all be under one persons name. A client was booking her daughters on the app but they were all booked under her name. Without having to log off and making new account for her daughters

Online booking notifications
Aside from getting the salon owner getting the online bookings, cancellations or confirmations from guests, it would be nice if their was a notification within the system. Similar to a message board that my receptionist can check to see what has changed for the week, etc. Or, perhaps there is a pop up that appears when a change is made by a client versus a staff member.

Use Salon Branded App as a way to pay and as the Treat Card (like Starbucks).
I think this would be very useful for our guests who like to stock up on gift cards to use on themselves throughout the year. With Starbucks, you can load up the card (gift card) on your Starbucks app and just show the app when you checkout each time.
It would be cool if the Salon Branded App through Phorest could do something like that. This could also be how guests earn points on their Treat Card.
It would drive people to download the Salon Branded App which I think is more useful nowadays than the plastic key tags.

Salon be able to cancel online bookings without client being refunded deposit
At the moment we get a lot of clients who book online, then call us to cancel!
We tell them over the phone because it was booked online they need to cancel online (because if we click cancel on it a pop up says they will be refunded their deposit) but then they either moan about it or never bother cancelling it so we are left with that appointment blocking up the list.
We can’t delete the appointment because it disappears from their history and we like to keep track of who has multiple cancellations in a row.

Online Booking - Allow Named Guest Booking
Allow for the client to add details of the other client(s) they are booking for online so we have all the details before they arrive in the salon.

Online Booking - Show Original Booking Date Of Rescheduled Appointment
When a client reschedules their appointment, it does not show what their previous appointment was in the notification email - IE Client has rescheduled to December 25th - But unless I go into trail I do not know when their previous appointment was- Can this be added into the notification emails I receive?

Clients can update their details on the online booking system i.e new mobile number/email
It would be very useful if there was an option for the client to update their own details if they move addresses or change mobile or email addresses through the online booking system on the home page.

Sorting option of staff list for online booking i.e. seniority order
We are just starting to use the online booking platform and note that staff are listed in alphabetical order, but we would like the list to be in seniority order.
Our research tells us that this list order can only be altered by adding a number in front of each stylist. This is undesirable as the number not only shows up in the stylist list on the salon branded app but also on the appointment calendar and reporting documents in the main software.

Group booking option for workshop/master classes
Workshop/Master classes are a great way of generating revenue and upsell services and products. It would be great to be able to allocate a number of places for an event and allow clients to book it using the APP.

Online Booking - Show alternatives
I would love the app to be able to show alternatives when something or someone isn’t available.
Example: if a client is looking for a 60 min massage tomorrow but we are fully booked the app could make suggestions of what we do have that they might like instead. 60 mins unavailable but 45/30 is available at similar time or Swedish massage available rather then sports etc....
Rather than the client just thinking I’ll look somewhere else.
If we are very busy through the week and we might not have what the want free until the following week but alternatives…11 votes
