Digital Treatcard: Automatic opt-in on card creation option
We'd love it if the TreatCard was integrated into the App so that the guest isn't required to have a TreatCard tag or card that needs to be scanned into their file. As soon as a client card is created they are allocated a treat card number.
Perhaps upon first time payment a pop up comes up asking if they'd like to opt into the rewards program. There could be bonus if they opt in that's customizable. We'd like to see more flexibility in the types of treats they can receive.

An online finance booking option for store/bookings etc, some online systems let you choose a way of paying through credit.

Cancellation Page: Include Salon Contact details where appointment is within the cancellation period
Scenario:
Client gets a SMS Confirmation Text from Salon; Needs to cancel appointment and clicks link which brings them to the 'Cancel' page. It is now within the 'unable to cancel' because it is within the min. cancellation period.; Client is shown a message saying a generic message "saying please contact the salon". There are no contact details available to call the salon from this page and the client has to now actively seek out the salon contact details in order to confirm a cancellation.

Ask clients to leave a cancellation reason when cancelling an online booking
Can a basic multiple choice be added to Online bookings for cancellations? Almost like when you unsubscribe from a website
A drop down could appear when a client cancels to give a reason which would help the business identify areas to work on

Diary Zoning: set certain appointments that are booked online to be visible at set times
It would be great to be able to zone appointment categories so that you can set certain appointments that are booked online to be visible at set times. Such as consultations & reviews, to ensure maximum efficiency and control over excessive volumes being booked inn certain diaries.

Notification to salon when client leaves an online note with their appointment
The feature for clients to be able to leave the salon a message when they book online appointments is only good if the salon gets a notification that a message has been left by the client. It is too late to see the note the day before or on the day of the appointment. For salons with lots of staff and many clients, it is not viable to keep checking every online booking to see if the client has left a message.
This has caused us a few problems because the client's righty assumes that we know they have left…1 vote -
Make an option to make a full payment when booking online
Lots of our clients want to have an option to make a full payment at the time of online booking instead of just paying a deposit. Sometimes it's because they are booking for their partner or for elderly parents, etc. Or they just want to pay and relax.

Ability to not accept certain card payment types online e.g. Revolut
I would love if we did not except Revolut cards on the online booking system as when the client is a no show they are taking money out and there is no funds to put the sale through. This happens us at least twice a week

Online booking, special offer being able to book a double slot
App/online booking for special offers. When I list a special offer with group 2 it won’t show on app or online booking yet when listed as group 1 it does but then won’t allow double slot booking at the same time. Could we get this added so we can have the same treatment booked at the same time for 2 people but for a discounted price. Eg: luxury pedicure for 2 for Mother’s Day.

Move the special offer category on online bookings to the top
Moving the special offer catergory up the top will help clients see the offers and will help with the salons projected income as when booking they book the original price instead of the special offer price and then change when they come in.

It would be nice to set it up where you can make special offers that current guests cannot book online - special offers just for new accounts.

VIP section on client app
It would be great if we had a VIP section on the client app, that we can allow certain clients access to. It adds exclusivity as well as lots of other benefits.

Timer/vacation setting to turn online booking off temporarily
As a busy stylist I'd like to turn off online booking, but then turn it on in a slow week and have the system automatically set to turn it back on after a specified period. Like stop/starting your mail while you're away.

Instagram live image gallery feed on the Salon Branded App
having a live feed from IG in the gallery on the branded app would save time having to constantly upload pictures of our work into the app. Its very time consuming having to upload pictures and embedding IG would resolve this. Clients could then see up to date work easily.

Use Salon Branded App as a way to pay and as the Treat Card (like Starbucks).
I think this would be very useful for our guests who like to stock up on gift cards to use on themselves throughout the year. With Starbucks, you can load up the card (gift card) on your Starbucks app and just show the app when you checkout each time.
It would be cool if the Salon Branded App through Phorest could do something like that. This could also be how guests earn points on their Treat Card.
It would drive people to download the Salon Branded App which I think is more useful nowadays than the plastic key tags.

Add videos in the Gallery in the App
It would be great to be able to post videos of our works in the gallery and have it in categories.
this would allow the client to follow us on histogram & Facebook by liking the videos. the Click button would allow them to access our Facebook and social media area's to follow or like posts and videos.1 vote -
Online Store access via Branded App & Online Booking
it would be nice to promote 1 app for the salon and also have the link to our online store right on the online booking page as well. I think more people would take a look.

Allow Family members to be linked on app
allow clients to merge their family members files onto their accounts in order to see appointments. For example a dad who sets up his son's appointments - a way for him to see both his and his son's appointments in the app.

Multi Site Visit Award
We now have 5 salons and as they are reasonable close to each other, we have found that clients are visiting the different locations.
It would be amazing if we could include something in the Phorest App that had a badge/stamp when they visit each site.
Then once they have been to all locations - they get an achievement award or something like that. Then as a brand we can reward clients who have been to all sites if they show us their app with their badges maybe?themootour
