  2. Book Now button on Google Business

    Reserve with Google is a new service where you can book an appointment directly from your google search. There is no need to go to a specific app or website. You just start booking directly from your search. Other salon software have had great success partnering up with Reserve with google and I was hoping Phorest would be able to provide the same service. I have attached pictures of what it looks like. Thank you

  3. Online Booking - Waiting List and Upgrade Desktop Wait List

    Clients booking online should have the ability to book into a waiting list if their stylist isn't available. Staff in salon should have better options in the wait list like auto booking in and more flexible times in the waiting list, not just for a specific time slot.

  4. Marketing - Auto Group Clients for Better Targeting (High spenders, overdue, regulars, low spenders etc)

    When sending an email or SMS campaign, it would be great if we didn't have to mess around with complicated filters. We should be able to pick from pre-set filters for clients like high spenders or low spenders, people who've had this type of facial or regular hair colour or even people due in for certain services or people who tend to book on a Monday.

    If Phorest figured these groups out before hand then sending campaigns would be much easier!

  5. Salon Branded App - Push Notifications For Clients

    Ability to send push notifications to our branded app users. This will alert users on their phone when you want to send them a marketing message and let them drop straight into your app to make a booking!

  7. Accurate Time Clock and Pay

    We’ve just joined Phorest for all the innovative automatic processes. While our old software has hundreds of reports, which you have to manually act upon. We’ve moved to Phorest as it runs a report itself and acts automatically, BRILLIANT.

    One area Phorest could catch up on though is it’s “Time Clock”. We’re not full launched yet but from the demo we had Phorest appears to be lacking 1 or 2 basic features, which we’re hoping can be looked at.

  8. Marketing - Client Reconnect Link Direct To Service/Category

    We believe it would be far more beneficial if the url in the re-connect SMS/Email directed the recipient to the specific service they are being encouraged to rebook. By directing them to the entire Booking System they are required to search for the service and this we fear is where we will lose them. If this functionality were made available it would have far reaching advantages for online booking etc. For example web visitors could be redirected at product level to the booking system. Much simplier than having to search a seond time on the booking engine!

  9. Marketing - Email Capture Widget For Websites Etc

    At present we have to use mail chimp or other external widgets to capture our clients and potential clients details when they are on our website. Phorest should have this facility given that this is where our client database lives and we use Phorest to send marketing emails and txts to clients. This would make our lives easier instead of having to contact Phorest to transfer or to do it manually.   10. Phorest Desktop - More Symbols & Colours on appointment screen

    Have some way of indicating on the appointment, ideally changing the colour of the appointments to pre specified colours, or by having even a flag indicating what clients have been given a confirmation call the day before. There could be a Confirmed Button, Left Message Button, and No Answer Button.

    This will help keep the receptionists on track when completing calls to our guests and keeps the service experience on a very personal level by allowing us to still have the one on one conversation. It will also help us know if we've called and left a message for future…

    Hi Janine,

    We’re looking at adding more in the area of confirmations from our text messaging as well as manually updated by reception staff.
    This is something we’re planning over the next few months so I’d love to hear more feedback on it when we’re beginning development.

  14. Staff - Set What Staff Can Do A Service When Creating Service

    At the moment all therapists are qualified when you add a new treatment, so now I have to remember to go into each therapists qualifications and untick them if they can't do that particluar treatment. I would like the ability to just qualify the relevant therapists at the time of adding the new treatment. Perhaps a drop down box on the advanced page to tick the therapist.
