Branded App Development
I would like to see the app developed to enable for our salon to send push notifacations to alert certain category clients that a space has become available / special promotions
- Client to upload their own photos of treatments or salonselfie to be tagged to their account / their reviews through the app also / feedback
- Send customers info on latest or treatments they might like
- last minute appointments
- when clients click re-book now it tries to book with that therapist, it should recommend other therapists available on other days should their last therapist not be available
- When booking through facebook / website encourage to download app
- Feedback on how many clients downloading / using app - linked to client account to see who has it
- Messaging through app?
- Top up voucher/account on the app
- Video Library

SMS Marketing can become invasive (we have all received the PPI texts and get annoyed) and should perhaps be left as a communication tool for Friends, family and Appointment reminders.
If the Branded App had a Push Notification (as oppose to having to send texts message) this is less invasive for the client and more cost efficient for the salon owner (as the Push Notification is via 3/4G as oppose to have the cost of a text message).
Many Other Apps have Push Notifications, come on Phorest update us with this technology -

A competitor in our town uses their app to push notices / offers etc... 3 of our customers have spoken with us about this, so presume they also go to this competitor! Be great to see this feature!! PLEASE

as we have a photo library which we can stream/mirror via the app, can we also have a video version?
this is so we can show our work, have tutorials and virtual tours etc -

When clients use the app it shows all the treats regardless of if they have enough points or not which is misleading to clients who constantly think they can have all the treats shown. Either show the treats they can have or take the treat booking off the app!!

It would be really useful to have a banner on the front page of the App for offers so that they can be promoted up front once the App opens eg. Christmas gift vouchers now available in salon....

the app clients can download from the app store we should be able to edit this ourselves as we can not change the pictures or staff or edit treatment descriptions?

When the facebook pictures are used on the photo section of the App, the text that is with the facebook picture needs included otherwise the picture can look completely random and there is no explantion of the picture eg if this is a Christmas set nobody knows price or any of the info that you included on facebook.

the more people hear about the app and use the booking the more bookings and the more happy we all are - the app is quite unique among salons so should be passed on to maximise on online booking = easy for clients = more money for us = more exposure for phorest - win win all round

There are some sections of the customised app that should refresh automatically, such as the Gallery section. Whenever new photos are added to the album the app should refresh with the new photos. Currently this does not happen and can make the app "boring" for the client. This is also a great potential tool to post photo's of new trends and styles etc.
Also, if salon has a few branches, rather than having individual apps for download, a single app with branch selection option should suffice. I look forward to the response and congratulate on the amazing technologies at our disposal! :)
