Online Booking - Waiting List and Upgrade Desktop Wait List
Clients booking online should have the ability to book into a waiting list if their stylist isn't available. Staff in salon should have better options in the wait list like auto booking in and more flexible times in the waiting list, not just for a specific time slot.

we really need a waiting list with booking options to keep details of request ie: before this day, pacific days or times they can do etc. perhaps if a client cancels there is a automatic flag up on the waiting list of who is most suitable for that slot to ease the workload of staff or an option we can say yes or no too, (if no we control the situation if yes then an automated text/ email goes out to those with a link to book the slot/ followed up by a slot taken message once its taken? iv made lots of spreadsheets, lists etc btu none have been sufficient enough so i look forward to the day you guys figure something out. keep up the good work! xx

Why isn't there a way to print people that had a wait list appointment that never happened... how can we remember who was on the list?
The waiting list to display when you start Phorest, rather than having to click it to open it

Can we please add an option to select a date range to add clients on a waiting list for clients that are flexible. I.e. a client would like to have a facial anytime within the next two weeks.
Yes, having the waitlist stay open/visible at all times and update/transfer clients forward from day to day if they don't get an appointment would be very helpful.

I would love to also have a set up in owners section where we can set the wait list as always visible. sometimes my staff forget to open it as it is set to automatically be hidden when opening Phorest, I would love the ability to have it set as permanently visible.

A client would like to schedule an appointment with a stylist that is not available during a range of days. We would like to be able to add a client to a waiting list that allows us to choose a date range lets say January 4th of 2022 thru January 8th of 2022.
Currently, I have to add the client manually each for that date range.

Currently we have to add a guest to the waitlist for each day they are interested. This is tedious and burdensome especially if they want to be added to the waitlist for any availabilities for let's say a months date range.
HOW MUCH LONGER are we waiting for this upgrade it's great to offer online booking but we also need to know who has tried to book and not been able to get an appointment this would help with forecasting understanding when we are busy also give us opportunity to open when we are closed it's frustrating when you're no longer in control of your diary and you do not have all the tools at hand to communicate with new and existing clients. Also I tested the app myself and when you start booking appointment and you have left it you are prompted you to pick up where you left off. it would be great if we could see how many attempts of an appointment has been made by an individual who may not put them self on the waiting list!! when you get around to it just something else to think about

There should be dedicated area for the waitlist. An area where those who are behind the desk can see everyon on the wait list, their requested services, preferred stylist and times requested. Not how things are currently set up. It is limiting and takes away from possible revenue especially going into the holidays season.
Would be great to have Waiting list active even is staff schedule is not set yet.
If auto-booking, might be nice to have a travel time estimate feature, so it won't auto-book someone when they can't physically make it (short notice). But love the idea of all of this.

to be able to put a client on a waiting list for different days/times instead of just one specific time. Also, for it not to automatically move the client to a slot if it opens up as we need to be able to give the client notice so that they can make it to the salon. We aren't notified when the appts move so we cannot notify them.
A great way to improve the waitlist would to be able to select multiple days and a time range that they are available. Couple that with the dates they want to be seen within and have the system make reoccuring appointments for that specific range!

For if you are fully booked but you are allowing new guests to join the wait list a notification comes up for the client when you get a space. Also for regulars to have the option to rebook if your not taking on new guests so you don't have to close online booking.

We need a running waitlist that clients can be added to to take the first available appointments. If we are booked out months in advance they do not want a specific day. They want whatever comes up first. This is an absolute must.
This has been the worst in any software We’ve used we’ve had to resort to a spreadsheet old school way of doing it. But so glad u entered general neural option 🤦🏻♀️honestly , get going with this ASAP ! And please make it easier for staff to see their waitlist so they can add on if they want to make extra money ! Gosh so frustrating 2021 let’s be on top of the times let’s get this going this year please !
We loved salon iris waitlist. It’s nice to have a list view of everyone who is wishing and a checked off area of when you already tried to call them to offer a spot.
This would be a great Improvement to the running of the business if this aspect could be fixed
