Online Booking - Waiting List and Upgrade Desktop Wait List
Clients booking online should have the ability to book into a waiting list if their stylist isn't available. Staff in salon should have better options in the wait list like auto booking in and more flexible times in the waiting list, not just for a specific time slot.
The cancellation list should not only be available in the Salon on Forest computer Application can it be part of the service menu online
Due to the pandemic and the dairy been taken offline the wait list becomes available and emails are sent through.
Is it possible to have this option when the diary is available? This would be great for when clients cannot find appointment online for the timeslot required
We can’t have such a sophisticated system and be using manual processes

Absolutely unfortunate that this is still not being addressed. We have resorted back to a paper cancellation list due to the fact that we have to manually add the client in each day instead of being able to choose dates and time frames. It’s a waist of valuable time to add them each day for sometimes weeks
Very important that the wait list comes up when there is a cancellation

Please make this possible. We have had to resort to a paper wait list at our front desk going back to old school. Talked with a friend the other day and the main reason she went to Phorest's competitor's software was the deciding factor of the wait list not being multiday adjusted. Things really need to be customizable please.
I agree!! This is the most disappointing feature with Phorest! Not having a functioning cancellation or waitlist is costing us money. When a cancelation occurs a list of clients that are waiting for the next available should pop up. Then they can easily be scheduled intonations that spot.

Especially during this world crisis, stylists should have the opportunity to fill in cancellations. Most guests have a time range in which they're available-not just a specific time. Also, busy stylists have multiple guests on their waiting lists, and call until the cancellation is filled.

Clients should be able to join via online booking a virtual cancelation list that automatically sends them an email that a space has come up at the time they have selected or anytime in the day,
If not fussy they chose with any therapist available or they have the option to chose who they are waiting for.
They should have have to respond to the email within say 60mins of it being sent or the appointment will then be offered out to the next person waiting on the list.....
This will be one of the reason I decide to leave if it’s not addressed in 2020. Not having a functioning wait list is literally costing us money. Was sad to know this wasn’t created especially during a time when we are in the worst booking nightmare in history.
We also just moved to Phorest. Of all the features this feature "waitlist" is the most disappointing. It serves little or no purpose. Better records can be kept on a note pad. Everyone has listed very good suggestions and all of which are important, but I would like to be able to run a report, so that I can see future people on the list.
I think the waitlist should work in combination of online booking. If they want a sooner available they should add themselves to the waitlist and select what service they want.
I don’t think it should be an either or option with the online booking.

Es wäre super wenn Wartelisten für Kunden auch möglich wären, wenn die Online-Buchung aktiv sind.

The waitlist should be a contius list of guest with their desired appointment - time frame and technician. Not just 1 day. There should also be a pop up when a spot opens up. Our waitlist is curently on a yellow pad and with Phorest being so ROBUST, I think the waitlist feature needs some serious attention.

Having just moved over to Phorest. We are finding it incredible that the waiting list is so inadequate.
Especially now the "add to waiting list" option is now in place on the booking button, but has to be manually managed!!!
Our previous software automatically check the waiting list when an appointment was canceled and popped up the waiting list so a prospective client could be selected.
Reading the other comments on the suggestion site, I find this has been ongoing for 2.5 years at least. And still just "under review". Phorest please listen to your customers (803) and get a better waiting list implemented please.
Can not believe this was first asked for in 2017 and we are now in 2020 and phorest still has the worst wait list ever...... under review!! its a joke... this should be on the top of the pile... instead of just working on things that will generate phorest more money, when you should be concentrating on making us more money!!!!
A generic waiting list needs to be added for any time or day not just specific days
Waitlist is not user friendly - or practical. Same day waitlist does not help those who are available muti[le dates / times - The waitlist should include service desired - times guest is availble/prefers/pop when that time frame opens up

Allow to put people on a waitlist for a week, month, etc. Currently you have to add in manually each day.
Die Warteliste ist toll, aber leider bekommen wir nicht immer die KUNDEN AM GLEICHEN TAG UNTER.
Ich wünsche mir das die Kunden in der Warteliste von Tag zu Tag mitgehenbis wir sie unterbekommen haben.
