Security - Allow Access Settings To Individual Reports
Allow us to grant access to particular reports/sections to our team as some of the reports are very beneficial for them to be able to generate but we don't want to grant them access to all information on the business
This is an absolutely CRITICAL need! SalonBiz was capable of this. Allowing access to specific reports for certain team members supports the owner. Otherwise, the owner is the only one who can gather any performance data. There is no room for delegation or team work here. Please upgrade!
To make our lives more efficient and for me to be able to delegate certain tasks, I need team members to have access to reports, BUT NOT EVERYTHING! We were able to do this in SalonBiz every easily.

TOTALLY AGREE! If staff has access to reports... they can then see what every employee in the company is paid on a hourly basis. There REALLY needs to be a way to sort what reports they can access. This causes HR security issues. Please fix ASAP!!!!!!!

I suggest we can access a simple report to gain individual staffs rebooking of clients, rebooking of new clients, colour business, and overall retention.. all in a percentage figures.
These are the basics that I need to monitor my business and it’s annoying that I can’t access some of these reports super simply

Report access should be individual to the levels and the employee. This way they would only see certain reports, individual commission for themselves and managers and supervisors would have certain access levels to reports but not all. Managers should be able to see commission of every one for example but employees only see their own.
Same with the financial reports certain information must be seen by the employees.

There are reports that are not for everyones eyes so it would be helpful to pick and choose which ones you would like people to see.
We have different access levels for management and non-management so that people can either run reports and see client information or they can't run reports and they cannot see client information. We would like to look into how we can create even more specific access levels in terms of having some people be able to run most reports, but not ones that include client information. The goal is not to learn more about the management/non-management access levels but how we can take it further than the level it is at currently. Like having some stylists be able to see client info and some not.
YES!! Please! The only way an hourly employee knows if they forgot to clock in or out is when I do payroll and run the time clock report. This is very inefficient. Emailing a weekly report is cumbersome as well. I can see this png image above is from SalonBiz!! We miss this feature, as each employee can see their clock in/out history for the current pay period. SO EFFICIENT and creates far less management of another detail.
Access to staff payroll set up and payroll reports need to be separated. HR need to have restrictive access to protect employee privacy.
I moved to Phorest from Millenium, and grade Phorest an A on Marketing, Appointments, and ease of use, glad I switched. The two biggest voids were employee access to numbers, (now fixed with app enhancements yay), and ability to grant/deny access to reports.
This is a major miss that should be prioritized above others and fixed immediately! We need to grant access to reports to our assistant managers and department heads, but it is currently access to all or nothing, which means everyone would see what everyone else earns, commissions, checks, hourly, etc!!?? This is not good, so currently no one has access to reports, which has our managers flying blind. Please prioritize and fix so that you can give access to chosen reports.

May I suggest you switch which you see first when clicking on the report tab.
I hear this come up often among many users. They wish they could allow their team access to reports however the challenge is the NEW REPORTS show up first. This means all private payroll information is beaming in the first click on STAFF.
IF old reports were what came up first we could set securities and our team could access reports we would like them t have access to.
Honestly it makes more sense to see old reports first then a tab to get to New Reports.
Thank you for listening.

Come on Phorest, this is a no brainer... we need to be able to manage our team and their access to the reports. Some are needed and some are totally our of bounds. Let us use the system effectively for businesses and our teams. Blanket access is just not OK!!
Reports - must be able to restrict reports - the fact that you cant restrict certain reports - you have to open all or restrict all - in this day and age? I changed systems to move up - very disappointing. There are reports that I dont want my manager to see - but I have to give her all access
for me thus very important
We would like to have the ability to email each of our service providers their reports rather than just to one email address. Or change the access so that it is not all or nothing. It would also be nice to have the option to view one service provider rather than all on a report.
Our service providers are used to seeing there totals... Necessary for setting/completing goals.
REALLY need to be able to give access to certain reports to staff or junior level managers, without giving them FULL access to ALL reports! Not being able to do this ties me, the owner, to completing and reporting on all things. There are certain reports that should remain unavailable to team members, such as payroll, etc. Is this coming soon?

It would be nice to be able to allow my stylists to see the report of their totals for the day, including their credit card tips, and retail numbers. Trying to go paperless (payroll is a nightmare!) and put more accountability/control in my stylists hands without the endless paper.
