Ability to update stock prices for supplier discounts/price changes from an order
To be able to update or change the cost price of stock on the orders sheet when stock arrives in salon. With the option to save for when change is due to supplier price increase or not save, if it is a special promotion price. Thank you

It would be nice if we could change the prices of an item in the inventory orders to reflect the purchase order or changes in the prices (Specials, items from multiple distributors that have slight price differences)
We create an order and then send it to our distributor
The distributor fills the order and sends it to us with an invoice
When we balance the order with the invoice if an item was on sale,
we have to
>delete the item from the order
>edit the item in the main inventory
>change price to sale price
>add the item back to the order
Let me tell you, when we stock hundreds of cans of colors, and they are on sale, I want to CRY because of the way I have to edit everything to make it balance.
When you check in the order, you click on an item and a box comes up
"What do you want to do"
You have Edit Quantity, Edit Arrived or Cancel...
If you could add
EDIT COST I would cry tears of joy!!

When an item is on sale or discounted from distributor, the inventory only tracks the original wholesale price and there isn't a column to put in the wholesale sale price? We should be able to track the percentage of profits from retail sales from the wholesale costs- which also would include any wholesale sale prices. please put Lines for what item costs when the actual product comes in on "Create Inventory "

in Aveda salons or any salons, we received products in few different price points: Retail, back bar, testers, and marketing...
We need to have options of changing prices as we received orders to match with the invoice.
Allow us to “discount” our purchase price of items ordered when they are on sale. For example if hairspray for the salon to purchase is BOGO, or is 20% off, I should be able to have my inventory order price total to reflect that. To stay within budget and reflect real totals for the month.

This is an item that has real merit but needs to be thoroughly thought through so that we are accurately maintaining a stock price. My preference would be to introduce an 'average cost' or 'last cost' price so that we have a 'book cost' as well as an interpreted cost as things do fluctuate and then we can get an accurate reporting on GP$ and GP% which we currently cannot.
Currently we do not even have the ability to reconcile an invoice value with the order (total order) which is prone for error. I'd love to see this too, rather than just line by line.

Allow Cost Price as a Discount selection when making a purchase. This would make employee purchases at cost much easier to account for.

We need to be able to find out what we are spending on products from suppliers.
At the moment we only can get a product report for a single order.
There are currently no reports for adding multiple orders together.
You have to go through manually. Adding each order.
One by one with a calculator.
It’s really tedious.
We need reports for product orders.
Like we have for sales.
Please this would help is a lot.
So we can compare our cost of ordering, next to sales.
So we can look at our business better and see our margins.
Also a report for cost of services would be great too.
To see how much we are collecting from the stylist.
I second this! HIGHLY. When these po's get to our accountant, he has to figure out which receipt they go to because the receipts/invoices have shipping and tax added. I don't know why these wouldn't be allowed. Also, we buy things with rewards, or we stock up when suppliers have sales. This is imperative that we can change these prices to the temporary price so it is accurately counted in our total value of inventory, etc. Please make this change yesterday! : )

A quick way to adjust the cost of incoming items vendors have given special pricing to for a one time purchase / deal.
It would need to be on the line item for the order so you could adjust/edit the cost when you arrived the order so you could match the amount to the invoice - angels would sing!!
It's an ordeal to have to go to inventory and change prices back and forth every time you get a special price from your vendor. Our vendor likes to give us deals which is lovely, but it is a pain to have to go in and change the price back and forth every time we arrive an order :(
The alternative is to have our accounting off all the time or make adjustments to our bookkeeper all the time.
Please oh, please consider!! Thanks!
Add the ability to change the price on an inventory order. We often get products on sale and do not know until the order arrives what the price will be.

Sometimes we receive offers from our suppliers, such as free items when we place a certain value order. At present we have to book these in as standard cost price, so we are then unable to find out what the true profit of the promotion was. I would like to input stock at reduced / FOC price where relevant so we can see genuinely how much we made from investing in the promotion.

Yes please, we also need to be able to add an invoice number to an order as it arrives for ease of tracking

I would like to be able to change pricing of stock in orders. Because of deals and promos pricing changes from time to time.

When creating orders, there should be a way to add discounts and promotions as well as shipping and handling cost.
