Nowadays, people like self-services such as online bookings. Everything is done on their phone. As the salons will still greet their clients, clients do not have to wait at the busy desk or unattended desks when they arrive for their appointments. A quick check-in on a tablet stand would be a no-brainer for clients and help salons to perform better customer service.
Also, Phorest should consider this feature because so many other salon software competitors offer this.

We are wanting to change the traditional front desk. Clients will still be greeted but we would like a premlinary iPad screen for check in as to our current front of haus can be more of a concierge moving through the salon catering to each client/stylist needs without being tied to the front door.

Especially with the pandemic, this would be a great feature to eliminate multiple people using the keypad for Phorest Pay.

This change/update is VERY needed with social distancing, COVID-19 issues, and overall guest satisfaction/comfort. Please get this up and running as soon as possible!

Manually using a tablet or salon branded app to checkout when their services have been updated.

Also, able to use their mobile phone or salon tablet to check for their appointment.
