  1. Online Booking - Waiting List and Upgrade Desktop Wait List

    Clients booking online should have the ability to book into a waiting list if their stylist isn't available. Staff in salon should have better options in the wait list like auto booking in and more flexible times in the waiting list, not just for a specific time slot.

    Hi Folks,

    Great news, Facebook have started a new program for the Book Now button and we’re one of the first to be partnered on it. We have a development team starting work on this integration now!

    We know how popular this will be, so we’ll be letting everyone know about a launch date as soon as it’s available.

  3. Phorest Pay - Deposits for certain clients / appointments

    I find it difficult to get my staff to remember to take deposits. It’s very hard to remember “problem clients” and the flash up to say the client has missed appointments is not very effective. What would be good would be to add a feature that automatically takes you to the deposit screen when booking certain appointments. For example - new clients, selected “problem clients” or certain treatments (long ones ect). A pop up to the deposit screen to ensure deposits are taken, not allowing the treatment to be booked without would be good

    Some big news here, we’re now in development on a new payment platform for Phorest. We expect this to release later this year (after summer), we have a team dedicated to this and we can’t wait to get it into your hands.

    This will allow things like larger deposits, taking deposits over the phone and charging the balance of appointments using stored credit cards on client accounts.

    Big things are coming this year!

  4. Staff - View Their Performance

    I don't want staff to access ALL reports, therefore they cannot view their own performance. When using their own pin, they should be able to see how they are performing by day/week/month versus a target, or their commission. They should be able to look at this anytime. We can do this in our other salon (using shortcuts) and it really works! This would save me lots of time in reporting it back to them each week myself, and help when running incentives or competitions too.

  5. a "Did Not Show" counter or button.

    Spoke to Rachel for training. Suggested a (Did Not Show) counter or (Did Not Show) button, similar to the break button. Reason being is that there are many naughty customers who doesn't show up where within that time we lose a time slot. So it would be lovely to have a counter or a did not show button. Would help us a lot for future bookings to take an individual seriously or not.

  6. Book Now button on Google Business

    Reserve with Google is a new service where you can book an appointment directly from your google search. There is no need to go to a specific app or website. You just start booking directly from your search. Other salon software have had great success partnering up with Reserve with google and I was hoping Phorest would be able to provide the same service. I have attached pictures of what it looks like. Thank you

  7. Notify Salon when an SMS notification has "Failed"

    When a Client's SMS Appointment Notification has "FAILED" to send please provide the salon with an update so we know our Clients are not receiving their notifications. That way we can rectify the problem BEFORE a missed appointment. Thank you.

  8. Changing appointments in pay screen to reflect on the appointment calendar

    A guest may be booked in for a particular service, but when they arrive at the salon they may have a different service performed. Currently, we have to change the appointment in the appointment book screen to reflect the changes (upgrades/changes/downgrades) before we can pay the appointment. Could we please have the ability to make the changes in the pay screen, and in turn this then update the appointment book to reflect what has actually been charged for. If the stylists forget to change the appointment before paying we get left with appointments that are checked in but never appearing…

    Ability to send push notifications to our branded app users. This will alert users on their phone when you want to send them a marketing message and let them drop straight into your app to make a booking!

  11. Have a +4 or +2 weeks button on the appointment screen

    I feel there should be a two week or at least 4 week button for rebooking . 6 weeks is too far out .

  12. Phorest Go - Month Calendar View

    Phorest Go App-Please provide access to month view. I now close app to look at my calendar then re-open app and toggle 6 times to book.

    I would like to not have to close app to look at a month calendar and then re open app and toggle to the appropriate date to book my client.

  13. Marketing - Six week marketing calendar where we can plan campaigns to run automatically

    In the marketing area there would be a 6 week calendar where we could add in campaigns to be sent across the six weeks including SMS and Email for different types of campaigns, so we can set up our marketing once and not have to worry about it again till 6 weeks later.

  14. Phorest Pay - Flag No-Show And Cancel Clients To Take A Deposit

    If you go into a clients file it shows a client that cancels or doesn't show. This should flag up when the client calls to book so a deposit can be asked for

    Have different patch tests for different services as different services/categories might require additional patch tests.

    Also reminders to action patch tests that are failed/pending to keep us on top of legal requirements

  16. Online Booking - Limit Staff Choices For New Clients

    For a therapist who already has a full client list and does not wish to get any new clients, to block new clients from booking in with her online yet allow her existing clients to book online. This would allow new therapists whos client list has room to fill up.

  17. Option to flag appointments with important notes/reminders

    There should be away that we can flag an appointment on the book (make it red) for important notes, reminders or if they have a habit of being late or not showing up to their appointments. This can also be combined for Birthday reminders.

    What I do now is before their appointment time I make a break time before and write my notes there.

    I was thinking maybe having an option to flag the appointment and make it Red so on the appointment book it stands out when looking at it

  18. Marketing - Auto Group Clients for Better Targeting (High spenders, overdue, regulars, low spenders etc)

    When sending an email or SMS campaign, it would be great if we didn't have to mess around with complicated filters. We should be able to pick from pre-set filters for clients like high spenders or low spenders, people who've had this type of facial or regular hair colour or even people due in for certain services or people who tend to book on a Monday.

    If Phorest figured these groups out before hand then sending campaigns would be much easier!

  19. Appointments - Automatically Update Prices If Staff Prices Increase Or Staff Category Changes

    For the system to automatically update any prices of services booked in if stylist has had a promotion and the prices have changed to higher stylist prices.
