  2. Digital Treatcard that clients can scan from the app

    We'd love it if the TreatCard was integrated into the App so the guest isn't required to have a TreatCard tag or card that needs to be scanned into their file. As soon as a client card is created they are allocated a treat card number. Perhaps upon first time payment a pop up comes up asking if they'd like to opt into the rewards program. There could be bonus if they opt in that's customizable. We'd like to see more flexibility in the types of treats they can receive. Ie. $20 off a service (as opposed to adding on…

  3. Send salon an email if an online booking is not completed

    When online bookings done complete an email should generate to the salon with the clients details so we can contact them and assist in the booking
    Clients should be prompted to call the salon directly if they have difficulty booking

  4. Weekly totals report broken down into each day of the week

    It would be really beneficial to us to have a single report where you can select the date range and it will tell you the daily totals of that date range.

    We are based in a shopping centre and they require our daily totals every week. Having to do 7 reports for this is an inconvenience.

  5. Reporting for payroll to calculate overtime

    In order to do the payroll correctly in USA we have to calculate the regular hours and overtime. Unfortunately Phorest software is able to. We need to calculate the regular and over time hours separately

    Create a feature for us to sell memberships to our clients where they pay a set monthly fee to redeem selected services and also the options to give them a discount on services/products purchased in addition to the membership offer

  7. Option to not add refunds/returned products to stock count

    Currently when a client tries out a product and decides to return it, after the refund process the system automatically adds the product back to the stock count. We cannot sell used products, so this is highly inconvenient to manually change our stock numbers every time a product is returned. Adding an option to turn on/off the automatic addition of refunded products to the system like other competing salon softwares.

    Clients often ask how long since they were last in when rebooking.

    Showing how many weeks since they were last in on the rebooking prompt woudl solve this

  9. Vouchers - For Treatments Instead Of Set Value

    Allow gift vouchers to also be sold for a specific treatment / product / course rather than just a set value.

    This helps when giving to charity events, and many clients prefer to gift a treatment instead of a value so the recipient doesn't know the worth.

  10. Self Check-in and Check-out with iPad or mobile number

    Would like our clients to be able to self check in either:

    1. manually using a tablet or card.when the arrive at the salon.
    2. When they arrive with their mobile phone and if they have an appointment check them in.

    A product ReConnect, we have a Services ReConnect, but for those of us salons that sell retail, a Product Reconnect could help revenue and overall business. Show our clients we are up-to-date on their needs and allow them to purchase ahead of time online so their products are ready in-store at their next reservation or appointment.

  12. Send newsletters to our social media pages too via a link like Mail Chimp does

    I previously used Mail Chimp to send my patients newsletters, these can be automatically posted onto Facebook if you wish, it would be great if Phorest could do this too, then we can target potential new patients that aren't on our mailing list

  13. Online Booking - Check Gap Time Before & After

    At the moment the online booking platform will only check the time gap from the last appointment and won't check the time gap for the next appointment.

    This is creating small un-usable gaps from the end of the online booking to the start of the next appointment.

    While it would limit the availability shown online it is losing us money and we would like the option to force the gap time check on both sides of the appointment.

    Sometimes a client may need to cancel all future appointments would be much easier to also to be able to cancel in service history have an x to cancel rather than have to find every appointment in diary

  18. Dont allow a room to be double booked

    When booking in an appointment, if the rooms are FULL, don't allow an appointment to be booked in.
    It is too easy to override the 'warning'
    Also if an appointment gets moved dates but that room isn't available, allocate a different room (if available) don't just double book the original room.

  20. Add a money counter in cash up to enter quantity of notes/coins

    Other software has a built in money counter whereby you just add the quantity of denominations as you count your till. It makes the process easier and quicker at the end of the day. All you do is count the number of notes/ coins and add the quantity
    Ie
    $100 x Total
    $50 x
    $20 x
    $10 x

    End total in til.
