Automatic re-send for text messages if client hasn't confirmed after 6 hours
Our texts go out at 9 am, often in the afternoon we are still chasing clients to confirm. An automatic text 6 hours after the first if there is no confirmation would be great.

Set special alerts on an appointment wth very important messages
Alerts are important to see at every booking (ie allergic to tint - or hates head massage) - Messages are only applicable to the booking you add it to ( ie has to be out by 3 pm today ) also when you put the cursor on th type the date is automatically added along with your ID (initials or name)

Show totals on the product performance report
Being able to see the totals of each report, for example in Product Performance, the total $ products sold, wholesale and retail value as well as % mark up for that period.

Filter which guests can book online with certain stylists
We book all new guests with newer stylists. The owner or more established stylists don't take on new guests, however the only option to manage this right now is to take the stylists off online booking all together. Regular guests should have the benefit of booking online for regular stylists, just as new guests should be able to book online and be directed to the staff members who are building their clientele.

Automated aftercare emails linked to appointments
It would be amazing if an automated email could be created that contained aftercare instructions for and tailored for certain treatments lash lifting, facials etc.

Day shown on future appointment dates.
When you open a client card to tell them their future appointment, having the day as well as the date and time would be helpful. It would just save time!

Choose the points value for Treat Card points for Rebooking
Rather than it is set as 'Default' for 'double' treat card points for rebooking it should be a variable value set by the salon owner. Double points are really high.

right click options on appointments for faster changes
I would love a right click on computer mouse option (our old system had this) so we could at ONE CLICK;
-rebook (one app at a time)
-Move client (move that app)
-Cancel (leaves client app their with a red cross to indicate less than 24hrs notice)-No show (leaves client app there for us to still see with a big RED strike).
-Delete (no questions asked)
Im still getting used to forest but find it takes longer to make changes without this option.

Stock reconciliation... able to see just the variations
When selecting Stock reconciliation... have the ability to select on those items with variations to be included... not the entire list of products counted

Have the ability to use fingerprint scanners or a better security option than pins which are easy to find out by teams

Professional Stock quality of life
When scanning out professional use stock, it would be a great quality of life improvement if after you scanned out the item, the active cursor would automatically snap back to the barcode box so you could scan the next item immediately.

Two Way Text in Australia
we really need this as people are so time poor - we spend so much time following up confirmations and have to use an outside provider - if it was linked to everyone's appointment it would save so much time - I am amazed we don't have this on such an awesome system like Phorest.

Messenger or chat feature between locations

I'd love a Messenger or chat feature between locations. Instead of having to call from one salon to another I'd find a quick chat service really useful6 votes -
Client phone messages/ call back client message column/ call log
it would be great to have a call back client column/option so all client messages are on phorest. We used to do this on our old salon software where all phone messages were put into a column to be called back. we were able to right click with the computer mouse to change status of call back to- no answer, left message or completed. We could also add extensive notes e.g.: Lisa called @ 10am to reschedule tomorrows app.
This was really handy to make sure all client messages received a call back. It also helped when clients can't remember…6 votes -

low product alert/prompt when scanning product for purchase
When scanning retail products at check out, being promoted when that product is low (reminder that product needs to be ordered)
