if you take cards, you can already do this by asking your customer for their card details, however you may have an access/ storage issue so you would need to check with your acquirer. You may also need to look at why you have a high number of no shows and late cancellations. Get clients to respect your time, it is not easy but will make a big difference.
leaving a message in a break is great, but you can only leave 1 line, please can you make the break messages so that if you book a longer time, a longer message can be seen on screen.
also to ask for a photo! we do not often have the time, it would be great to text after they have left, also useful to let clients if you are running late as many would rather know than be sitting in the salon for 20-30 minutes Susie
